RESPECTED HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVE MICHAEL O'BOYLE NAMED TO UNITED MEDICORP BOARD OF DIRECTORS

DALLAS, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- United Medicorp, Inc. (Boston Stock Exchange "UMI", Dow Jones ticker symbol "UMCI") today announced that Michael P. O'Boyle has been elected to the company's board of directors.
The announcement is especially significant because O'Boyle is chief financial officer of the Medlantic Healthcare Group in Washington, D.C., and senior vice president of the Washington Hospital Center, which is United Medicorp's largest customer.
"United Medicorp has been a real asset to the Center in helping us gain better control of accounts receivable," said O'Boyle. "Their work has contributed significantly to our plan to use our internal resources more effectively, and their relationship with management and staff is quite good. UMC has been responsive to our needs and willing to fit into our overall A/R reduction plan. We believe the decision to include them in our long term plans is the right one."
O'Boyle is a certified public accountant and a summa cum laude graduate of Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales. His recent experience includes senior executive positions with St. Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta and Children's Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati, Ohio. A native of Allentown, Pa., O'Boyle resides with his wife Colleen and two children in Millersville, Md.
United Medicorp provides third party healthcare claims processing, management, collection, and accounting services for hospitals throughout the United States.
