REPUBLICAN LEADERS DISCUSS PROBLEMS WITH THE FAIR ACT
 TRENTON, N.J., March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Senator Gerald Cardinale,

chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, and Assemblywoman Clare M. Farragher, chairperson of the Assembly Insurance Committee, discussed the problems with the governor's auto insurance reform plan, known as The Fair Act, and some possible solutions on this edition of "State of the State."
Farragher said that although Republican leaders had no intention of tearing down the current plan, they are currently holding hearings to examine the plan and find ways to improve the system.
Cardinale disagreed with the governor's assertion on an earlier edition of "State of the State" that The Fair Act is saving New Jersey residents money. "Most of my constituents tell me they are paying more than they think is reasonable for automobile insurance," Cardinale said.
Guest journalist Mary Amoroso of the Record of Hackensack joined host Gene Dillard on the latest edition of "State of the State." This edition will air Wednesday April 1 at 9:30 p.m.
"State of the State" is a production of the Cable Television Network in cooperation with the New Jersey Cable Industry through the production facilities of TKR Cable of Hamilton. Check your local listings for the CTN channel in your area.
