REPEAT/Sonic the Hedgehog returns to Sega Genesis with the need for speed in "Sonic 3D Blast".

The name is also the title of several entries in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Sonic the Hedgehog, the world's most recognized videogame character, is bigger, badder and faster on Genesis than ever before. In "Sonic 3D Blast," Sonic takes advantage of new power-ups, special moves and torpedo-like speed to defeat his long-time nemesis, Dr. Robotnik. In addition to Sonic's notorious "SpinDash," the new secret weapon -- "Blast Attack" allows Sonic to hone-in instantly on the enemies.

With a new look and dynamic gameplay, "Sonic 3D Blast" includes seven zones, with three acts per zone and several bonus rounds per act. The game also features huge character sprites Noun 1. sprites - atmospheric electricity (lasting 10 msec) appearing as globular flashes of red (pink to blood-red) light rising to heights of 60 miles (sometimes seen together with elves)

 speed and cool attitude in "Sonic 3D Blast," Sonic and his friends have a difficult battle against the evil-spirited Dr. Robotnik. While Sonic explores the mysterious Flicky Island, he and his friends must discover the Chaos Emeralds The Chaos Emeralds (カオス エメラルド Kaosu Emerarudo  before Dr. Robotnik uses his evil tricks to capture them first. The key to locating the precious gems is to find the birds called Flickies, who can unlock the treasured Chaos Emeralds.

Sega's 16-bit pioneer system makes the move to the third dimension with breathtaking SGI-rendered worlds and characters. Incredible graphics in both the foreground and background provide gamers with a unique and three-dimensional experience.
