The Board of Supervisors of Orange County, California Orange County is a county in Southern California, United States. Its county seat is Santa Ana. According to the 2000 Census, its population was 2,846,289, making it the second most populous county in the state of California, and the fifth most populous in the United States. , approved a $19.8 million contract for MAXIMUS to continue to provide welfare-to-work case management services in the County.

This three-year contract includes two one-year options for renewal.

Under this contract, MAXIMUS will provide job development, placement, and specialized counseling services to jobseeking citizens of Orange County. MAXIMUS will utilize monthly face-to-face contacts with all clients to identify barriers to employment, assess services needed, provide motivation, and review individual progress and activities.
