REPEAT/Integrix Inc. Announces the IQstor Storage Family at NAB; The R1500 RAID and J1500 JBOD are the First Products to Debut.

Today at the National Association of Broadcasters tradeshow, Integrix Inc. unveiled its new IQstor(tm) storage product line.

The IQstor(tm) line will support Single or Dual Loop Fibre Channel, Ultra Wide Differential SCSI, LVD Ultra2 SCSI and Ethernet, as well as have SAN compatibility. Remaining true to the Integrix storage philosophy, the innovative design and system reliability make these products an excellent fit for any SAN enterprise.

The J1500 JBOD is a reliable, flexible, affordable storage solution for today's demanding network environments. The J1500 combines the highest density per gigabyte of total storage capacity. The SAF-TE monitor board allows easy storage management, both locally and remotely.

The system is available in both Ultra Wide Single-Ended SCSI and LVD Ultra2 SCSI, with dual hot-swappable, redundant power supplies and is both platform independent and SAN compatible. Designed to protect any investment, the J1500 JBOD provides an easy upgrade path to the R1500 RAID. It's as simple as swapping out the SAF-TE monitor board for Integrix's proprietary RAID controller board.

The R1500 RAID comes with the same features and drive capacities as the J1500, but offers a unique advantage -- Fibre Channel capability. Available with Single or Dual Loop Fibre Channel as well as Ultra Wide Differential SCSI, LVD Ultra2 SCSI or Ethernet, the R1500 comes equipped with a JAVA-based GUI for easy network management.

In addition, as customers' needs change, this system provides a similar upgrade path to the R2000, Integrix's 12-drive RAID system, which will be available at the end of June 1999.

Both systems are available in either a 3U desktop, deskside or rackmount form factors. From database management to multiple configurations or video archive applications, the IQstor(tm) storage systems provide the flexibility of a customized storage solution that will meet and exceed a customer's unique network requirements.
