REP EVENING TO INCLUDE 'WALK THROUGH ROMANCE'.Byline: Sharon Cotal Staff Writer NEWHALL - Billed as ``a theatrical walk through romance,'' the ninth annual Evening With the Rep will offer guests an intimate night of theater, dining and entertainment with scenes from four contemporary plays performed throughout the evening. Held in the Sand Canyon home of R.J. and Patty Kelly, the Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country, Repertory Theatre repertory theatre Production of several different plays in a single season by a resident acting company. The plays chosen may be classic works by famous dramatists or new works by emerging playwrights, and the companies that perform them often serve as a training ground for fund-raiser will begin at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 with an elegant petite buffet, music performed by classical guitarist Lance Allyn, and a Shakespearean monologue monologue, an extended speech by one person only. Proceeds from Evening With the Rep will benefit the Repertory Theatre's 2001 season and its award-winning Educational Outreach Program, which brings children's plays, workshops and apprentice programs to Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. Duswalt looks forward to the beginning of his first season with the Repertory Theatre with the opening of Neil Simon's ``Rumors'' on March 2.
