for not acting more strongly about UCLA's preparation during the week and anger for the embarrassment -- UCLA's catch phrase for the day -- suffered at the hands of the Utes.

One thing is certain, though. As a team leader, Davis said there will be a players' only meeting to hash it all out.

"We'll meet as a team, and meet as a team without the coaches, maybe clear the air, see what's on What's On (Traditional Chinese: 熒幕八爪娛) is a weekly half-hour TV series that airs on Fairchild Television. Format

everybody's chest, and we'll go from there," Davis said. "I guarantee you this We won't ever go out there and do that again. That's not us. That's not how we do things around here. We got beat up out there. This is not our style of football. It never has been, and it never will be again."

Davis said he sensed UCLA's intensity was lacking during the past week of practice, but regretted how the team leaders handled it.

"It was more like a, 'Hey, let's just get it together,'" Davis said. "Maybe we should have been raising our voice a little bit more here and there, really calling guys out that weren't doing what they were supposed to do.

"That's on me. As a leader of this team, I take responsibility for that. I didn't pull my weight like I wanted to (Saturday). It happens, and that's life and college football, so you have to deal with it."

Chris Markey, one of the Bruins' offensive leaders, agreed with Davis.

"We will have to get together as a team, and as players, and talk (stuff) over," Markey said. "We have to let everybody know, freshmen up to the seniors, it's not over. We still have high expectations and our goals are high for the season. We have to keep pushing."

losses, many vowed such a defeat would not take place.

However, it did, and Markey was quick to explain why.

"We didn't show up to play," Markey said. "They came up and kicked our (butt). That's what happened. We can't dwell on it. We figured we were going to come in here and beat these guys. We knew we were the better team, but we didn't show up and it showed. They beat the hell out of us."
