WHAT:     10th Annual LA's BEST Community Jam Against Violence

          Hundreds of LA's BEST (Better Educated Students for
          Tomorrow) children from will sing, dance, act and recite
          poetry in a powerful talent showcase aimed at taking a
          stand against the violence that affects their
          neighborhoods. Disney Channel's Sister, Sister stars Tia &
          Tamera Mowry will host this year's Jam. This poignant event
          features acts developed by children from more than 39 LA's
          BEST elementary school sites across the City of Los
          Angeles. All acts are created with the theme of decrying
          violence in their communities, and/or communicating what
          their world would be like without violence.
