WHAT: Having received more than 700 applications nationwide in
search of the finest Nintendo Street Team members,
Nintendo today unveiled 120 lucky finalists. Complete
with their pictures, bios and videotapes of their
auditions, 20 finalists from six markets are now posted
on the official Nintendo Street Team Web site at
www.nintendostreetteam.com.
From June 24 to June 30, people from all over the country
can let Nintendo know who their favorite Nintendo Street
Team finalist is. The 48 winners of the Nintendo Street
Teams will be announced on July 1.

their favorite Nintendo Street Team member is.

Nintendo Street Team! This 3-days per week position
pays $100/day ... you can't beat that, especially in
this struggling job market and economy.
-- The $10 billion dollar video game industry is the top
category in the entertainment industry.
BACKGROUND: In May and early June of this year, Nintendo held open
auditions in six markets across the country to find
nearly 50 individuals, ages 18 and over, to enlist in the
Nintendo Street Teams for the summer. The live "casting
calls" took place in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta,
Boston, Seattle, and Chicago, where candidates were
videotaped explaining why they deserved the ultimate
summer job.
The Nintendo Street Teams will be announced on July 1 and
will receive intensive on-the-job-training at a 48-hour
Nintendo "Boot Camp," scheduled in each city for July
8-9. Then, beginning July 13, the Nintendo Street Teams
will hit hot spots in their hometowns to give consumers
a taste of Nintendo's latest games. Nintendo Street Team
members will journal their fun and work experience, and
give a peek into their lives on the Nintendo Street Team
Web site, which will host the latest scoop on the team
from all over the country.
