director Brian Robbins; producers Bobby Newmyer and Jeffrey
Silver; executive producer Steven Reuther; composer George S.
Clinton and soundtrack artists The Offspring, P.O.D., Scott
Weiland and Dweezil Zappa; plus celebrity guests including
Courteney Cox Arquette, Patricia Arquette, Rosanna Arquette,
Amanda De Cadenet, Lukas Haas and Jon Voight; and World
Championship Wrestlers Shane Helms, Jeff Jarrett, Chris Kanyon,
Rey Mysterio Jr., Mean Gene Okerlund, Sting, Vampiro and The Wall,
along with ringside announcer extraordinaire Michael Buffer.
WHAT: A knock-down, drag-out wrestling extravaganza, right in the
middle of Hollywood Boulevard, featuring some of the meanest,
wildest, craziest, guitar-bashing wrestlers ever to break out of a
ring, plus The Nitro Girls and Mr. "Let's Get Ready to Rumble"
himself, Michael Buffer.
Immediately following the madness will be the world premiere
screening of Warner Bros.' and Bel-Air Entertainment's "Ready To
Rumble," a broad comedy set in the colorful world of pro wrestling.
