What: Best Buy, North America's leading specialty retailer of
digital technology and entertainment products, will open its
doors at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 to Florence-area shoppers.
The store located at 2701 David H. McLeod Blvd. in Magnolia
Mall, features a new store design highlighting
techno-tainment.
Dedicated to being a true "good neighbor", Best Buy works with
a number of non-profit organizations that can link Best Buy
support and resources to communities where Best Buy stores are
located. Children and families in Florence are now eligible to
be involved in a number of Best Buy/non-profit relationships,
including those with the United Way, Junior Achievement and

The Florence store is one of approximately 67 new retail
locations Best Buy will open across the country in 2002.
