Western Washington is a region of the United States defined as that part of Washington west of the Cascade Mountains. State University, Bellingham, Wash. Eleven universities from across the country participated in the camera design contest and all of the camera designs will be on exhibit. You will have an opportunity to interview the students about their 35mm camera designs and talk to Samsung Camera executives as well. First place winner will receive a $10,000 scholarship; second place winner will receive a $7,500 scholarship and the third place winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship. All three winners will also receive a one week trip to South Korea where they will visit the Samsung Camera headquarters and meet and work with the Samsung industrial design team. |
