             celebrating the 100th anniversary of Crayola(R),

             selected from winning art and essay entries submitted for
             the "Who In My Family Makes Me Smile and Why" contest by
             LA's BEST students throughout the City of Los Angeles
           - Gallery of children's winning artwork and essays

  WHY:      To support LA's BEST After School Enrichment Program.

    LA's BEST (Better Educated Students for Tomorrow) provides a safe
    and supervised education, enrichment and recreation program every
    day after school to elementary school children, ages 5 to 12, from
    Los Angeles' most economically challenged neighborhoods - at no
    cost to parents. LA's BEST is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization,
    founded in 1988 through a unique partnership including the Mayor's
    Office, the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Unified School
    District and the private sector. LA's BEST currently operates in
    105 elementary schools throughout the City of Los Angeles serving
    more than 18,000 children. Each of the LA's BEST sites creates a
    safe haven for children each day after school, providing a
    nutritious snack, homework assistance, academic support and a
    variety of enrichment and recreation activities. For additional

    NOTE: For security reasons, media representatives must RSVP
    attendance by 3 p.m. on Friday, May 30, at 213-489-8220 for
    clearance to enter the Sony Pictures Entertainment facility. Media
    also must show credentials upon arrival.
