WHAT: Intel CEO Craig Barrett will be the keynote speaker Jan. 9
at the 2003 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in
Las Vegas.
In his speech, Barrett will describe the technology forces
that are creating exciting new products and consumer
lifestyles, as well as silicon innovation that will provide
consumers with greater convenience and flexibility as they
unwire their connections to electronic devices. Barrett will
also discuss the future of the digital home.
At its all-wireless booth (#14607) in the Central Hall of
the Las Vegas Convention Center, Intel will exhibit a broad
array of consumer products and offer hands-on gaming, music
and video demonstrations. Intel's booth will feature
multimedia, gaming and convergence zones. The multimedia
zone will center on digital imaging, digital video and
karaoke. In the gaming zone, attendees can participate in
interactive gaming competitions. In the convergence zone,
Intel will show the latest computers that communicate and
communications and consumer electronics devices that
compute. Every demo in the booth will be wireless, operating
on either an 802.11a or 802.11b network.
