DEALS: GeneExpression Systems of Waltham, USA has signed an
exclusive marketing agreement with Synvolux Therapeutics
B.V. of Groningen, The Netherlands, to distribute
Saint-Mix, a novel in vivo and in vitro gene delivery
reagent, which can be used for transfecting DNA, antisense
and siRNAs. In a separate deal, it also signed agreement
with Dyomics GmbH, Jena, Germany to market new diode laser
compatible fluorescent labels that are used in BioArrays
field. Dr. Krishnarao Appasani, the founder of
GeneExpression Systems, says, "These marketing deals will
help us to enter into the microarrays and RNAi markets for
such reagents a great demand exist."
