    What: To celebrate the release of her new album, I'm Just a Girl,
          Deana Carter will perform and sign autographs at Sam Goody
          Central in the Mall of America on Tuesday, March 18, at 7
          p.m.

          Carter started her successful music career in 1996 with her
          debut album, Did I Shave My Legs for This?. The album went
          platinum in three months, had five hit songs and sold more
          than 5 million copies.

          The success of Did I Shave My Legs for This? catapulted
          Carter to stardom. She was voted one of the "Top 3 Best
          Country Artists" by Rolling Stone magazine, was one of
          Newsweek magazine's "100 People To Watch In The New
          Millennium," and was selected by People magazine as one of
          their "50 Most Beautiful People."

          The first single, "Strawberry Wine", from Did I Shave My
          Legs for This?, received many accolades including
          nominations from the Academy of Country Music Awards,
          Billboard Music Video Awards, Nashville Music Awards and the
          GRAMMYs. Carter also was nominated for a GRAMMY and Golden
          Globe award for her performance of "Once Upon A December"
          from the animated film Anastasia.

          Carter's new album release, I'm Just a Girl, has been highly
          anticipated. The first release from the album, "There's No
          Limit", has been popular on the airwaves and has paved the
          way for another successful album.

          Carter will promote her new album while touring with Keith
          Urban on Kenny Chesney's Senoritas & Margaritas tour this
          spring.
