What:
    Citigroup will award a $1 million grant to Habitat for Humanity
    International (HFHI) to support the construction of Habitat homes
    in 33 locations across the U.S. Along with this grant, Citigroup
    will continue to strengthen its "Citigroup Builds Communities"
    volunteer program, which unites employees from across business
    units -- Citibank, Salomon Smith Barney, Travelers, CitiFinancial,
    CitiMortgage and Primerica - as they work on building Habitat
    homes. As a result of Citigroup's $1 million grant made to HFHI in
    1999, more than 3,000 employees in 16 states logged 27,000
    volunteer hours to build 30 homes. Funds from the 2001 grant will
    be used to construct homes beginning this month and continuing
    into 2002.
