REMINDER/Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Carlos and Deborah Santana to Announce International Initiative and Call to Action on AIDS in Africa.

REMINDER...for Thurs. (June 5)

WHAT: In response to the catastrophic AIDS pandemic in Africa,

Carlos and Deborah Santana are donating the entire net

proceeds from Santana's summer 2003 U.S. Shaman Tour --running

June 13 to July 14--to benefit ANSA's Amandla AIDS Fund

supporting South African organizations battling AIDS on the

frontlines. The initiative will also educate people about the

crisis, and announce Artists For A New South Africa's (ANSA ANSA - Advanced Network Systems Architecture )

call to action to the South African government.

WHO: In addition to Carlos and Deborah Santana, ANSA supporters

confirmed to attend include:

-- Archbishop Emeritus Desmond M. Tutu--the Nobel Peace Prize The Nobel Peace Prize (Swedish and Norwegian: Nobels fredspris) is the name of one of five Nobel Prizes bequeathed by the Swedish industrialist and inventor Alfred Nobel.
