WHAT: Carmi Gressel of M-Systems' (Nasdaq:FLSH) Fortress Security
Division will speak at one of the world's largest gatherings
of computer security professionals, RSA Conference 2003 San
Francisco.
In a lecture titled "Outcanned, Decaffed, Secured JAVA,"
Gressel will discuss how dual processing can improve security
in multi-vendor applications and why current Java Card
applications are difficult to manage. This presentation will
describe how to protect digital content (e.g., Digital Rights
Management) while minimizing related costs.
Gressel, CTO of M-Systems' Fortress Security Division
(formerly Fortress U&T), was responsible for the original and
ongoing development of the compact, low power SuperMAP modular
arithmetic processor family. Chips secured by SuperMAP III are
efficiently employed in cost-effective 8-bit, 16-bit and
32-bit RISC processors. SuperMAP III works with a new,
patent-pending random number generator compatible with FIPS
140-2 and ETSI, enabling the fastest generation of cost
effective RSA key sets. He holds an MSc in electrical and
computing engineering from the Ben Gurion University.
WHEN: Tuesday, April 15, 11:15 a.m.
WHERE: Metreon Theater 8, Moscone Center, San Francisco
