RELAYING CONCERN; RACE AIDS KIDS' CARE.

Amid a festival atmosphere, more than 5,000 joined the 18th annual Jimmy Stewart Stewart, river, Canada
Stewart, river, 331 mi (533 km) long, rising in the Mackenzie Mts., central Yukon Territory, Canada, and flowing generally W to the Yukon River S of Dawson.
 Relay Marathon in Griffith Park Griffith Park is a large public park at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains. It is situated in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The park covers 4,210 acres (17 km²) of land, making it one of the largest urban parks in North America.  on Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week.  to raise money for the St. John's Health Center Child and Family Development Center.

The fun competition featured relay teams with five runners each completing 5.2 miles. The teams represented corporations, businesses, and groups of families and friends.

But the fun was not limited to the course. There was a children's race and a diaper dash, and the grounds near the park's tennis courts and merry-go-round featured entertainment on a main stage, petting zoos The following is a partial list of zoological gardens (zoos): Africa
, face painting, and booths featuring health, fitness and sports medicine sports medicine, branch of medicine concerned with physical fitness and with the treatment and prevention of injuries and other disorders related to sports. Knee, leg, back, and shoulder injuries; stiffness and pain in joints; tendinitis; "tennis elbow"; and  exhibits and professionals.

Since the relay began in 1982, the event has raised more than $4 million for the Child and Family Development Center.
