REI Introduces Outdoor Stewardship T-Shirts to Benefit Projects of Five Non-Profit Organizations.

Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI), a national retail cooperative providing quality outdoor gear and apparel, is introducing a series of Stewardship T-shirts to promote and support outdoor stewardship projects of five groups that organize volunteers to care for popular outdoor recreation areas.

Yosemite Association, established in 1923, supports Yosemite National Park through outdoor seminars and visitor services, as well as education, museum, research, and environmental programs in Yosemite.

Continental Divide Trail The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (in short Continental Divide Trail) is a United States National Scenic Trail running 3,100 miles (5,000 km) between Mexico and Canada. It follows the Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountains and traverses five U.S.  Alliance assists in the completion, management and protection of the Trail, by increasing public involvement, volunteer commitment and public sector support. Thousands of volunteer hours have contributed to the construction and improvement of hundreds of miles of Trail.

EarthCorps works with dozens of partner organizations to restore the environment to a natural balance and to maximize safe public access to open spaces while minimizing negative environmental impacts.

Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness works with more than 3,000 volunteers to preserve and restore the wilderness character of the Boundary Waters.

Appalachian Trail Conference, dedicated since 1925 to building, protecting and managing the scenic 2,168-mile Appalachian Trail for the public.

The REI Stewardship Tees are treated with DriRelease(TM) and Freshguard(TM). The 85 percent polyester polyester, synthetic fiber, produced by the polymerization of the product formed when an alcohol and organic acid react.
