than the Antelopes? A.V. should still be a factor in the Golden League race, and the return of suspended running back Jermaine Marshall should help. The way Bruce Molock ran the football at Dominguez last week, however, depth in the offensive backfield might not be necessary. Molock rushed for 229 yards on 23 carries and added a 22-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Michael Place.

PALMDALE (2-2)at BAKERSFIELD-RIDGEVIEW

Kickoff: 7:30 p.m.

The scoop: Last week's 44-7 loss to No. 1 Hart makes the previous week's 25-24 collapse at Verbum Dei even more difficult to swallow for what should be a hungry Falcons team. Coach Jeff Williams For the poker player, see .

REDLANDS EAST VALLEY at NO. 9 LANCASTER (3-1)

Kickoff: 7:30 p.m.

The scoop: The Eagles have landed. Lancaster has cracked the Daily News Top 10 for the first time. The Rebels have their own offensive weapon to answer White in Clifton Herbert. In last week's 27-20 loss to Saugus, Herbert kept Quartz Hill close by running for touchdowns of 76 and 12 yards and taking a kick back 90 yards for another score. Quartz Hill managed just five first downs against the Centurions.

BAKERSFIELD-CENTENNIAL at HIGHLAND (1-3)

Kickoff: 7:30 p.m.

The scoop: Speaking of tough schedules (see Antelope Valley), the Bulldogs get another Central Section reality check in the form of the Golden Hawks The Golden Hawks were a Canadian military aerobatic flying team established in 1959 to celebrate the 35th anniversary or the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and the "Golden" 50th anniversary of Canadian flight, which began with the AEA Silver Dart in 1909. , who knocked off mighty Bakersfield 14-10 last week.
