Reedsport High School graduation will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Two students have been named class valedictorians: Alison Law and Carter DuVal.

Law is the daughter of Robert and Tricia Law. She served as senior class president, junior, sophomore and freshman vice president and school body secretary. She was involved in Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society The National Honor Society (NHS), established in 1921, is a recognition program for American high school students who show achievement in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  and Knowledge Bowl. She plans to attend Stanford University Stanford University, at Stanford, Calif.; coeducational; chartered 1885, opened 1891 as Leland Stanford Junior Univ. (still the legal name). The original campus was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. David Starr Jordan was its first president.  to study English and literature.

DuVal, the son of Michael and Tracie DuVal, plans to attend Saint Mary's College of California The college's official literature states that Saint Mary's mission is guided by three traditions: Liberal Arts, Catholic and Lasallian. History

St. Mary's College began in 1863 as a diocesan college for boys established by Most Rev.
 to study archaeology and plans to get a doctorate in underwater archaeology. He participated in football, track and field and was Big Fir All League Second Team Defensive Line in football. He was a member of Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, band, Knowledge Bowl and was a member of the Oregon Coast The Oregon Coast is a geographical term that is used to describe the coast of Oregon along the Pacific Ocean. Stretching 362 miles from Astoria to the California border, the Oregon Coast is unique in that the whole coastline is public land.  Lab Band ``Evaluation.''
