Eagles wide receiver Josh Jovanelly had his way against the Barristers with five receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Jovanelly became the school's all-time receptions leader with a 67-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Aaron Frescas. The touchdown catch broke Ismael Lagunas' record of 113 receptions and gave the Eagles (4-1, 2-0) a 21-0 lead with 5:34 left in the second quarter. Frescas connected with Jovanelly again for a score, this time for 13 yards and a 28-0 Eagle Rock halftime lead. Frescas threw an 81-yard TD pass to Jose Navarro midway through the first quarter to give the Eagles a 7-0 lead.
