RECLAIM ANNOUNCES MAJOR EQUIPMENT UPGRADE

TAMPA, Fla., July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- ReClaim, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROOF) announced today that it has made arrangements for upgrades and improvements to its production line at its Kearny, N.J. recycling facility. The improved equipment line is expected to result in a nearly three-fold increase in ReClaim's production capabilities at that facility. ReClaim's president, James W. Hagen, noted that "This is an important step in our expansion process. We expect our new equipment line to greatly enhance our ability to satisfy and fill customer orders for our recycled products."
The improvements to the production line are anticipated to cost approximately $400,000, to be funded from the proceeds of ReClaim's recently completed initial public offering. The new line is expected to be implemented in July and August. Although there will be some short term interruptions in ReClaim's intake of raw material, no interruptions in ReClaim's production and sale of its end recycled products are anticipated.
Founded in 1987, ReClaim operates two recycling facilities in New Jersey where it recycles asphalt-based roofing debris into patented asphaltic-based road paving and patching products. The company recently announced plans to open a third facility in the Chicago area, and hopes to expand into other geographic regions as well.
The company's principal product, RePave, is a high performance asphalt patching material used to repair potholes and pavement overlays. RePave is sold to state and local road maintenance departments and also at the retail level for commercial/consumer use. In the company's field tests, RePave has performed favorably as compared to competing non- recycled products.
