What do Michele Kleier of Gumley Haft Kleier, Emily Tannen, of AJ Clarke R.E. Corp, Steven James, of Prudential Douglas Elliman, Frederick Peters, of Warburg Realty Partnership and John Wollberg, of Atco Residential all have in common?

All were selected by their peers, to serve as Directors, Class of 2008, for the Real Estate Board of New York's (REBNY) Residential Division.

REBNY, with 11,000 members, is the leading voice of real estate in New York and has, through its Residential Brokerage Division, taken great steps to improve the conduct and professionalism of REBNY member agents and brokers.

Two recent accomplishments have been the mandatory ethics course for all new residential members and the facilitating of the REBNY Listing Service (RLS) to smooth the process of cobroking properties.

As directors, these respected individuals will be responsible for the internal government and administration of the affairs of the REBNY Residential Division. This Board of Directors is unlike other association boards in that its structure insures that all voices of the residential practitioners can be heard no matter how small or large the firm may be; three seats are reserved on the Board of Directors in each of four classes representing small, medium, large and super-large firms with a rotating Member At Large selected each year.
