REBNY Ingenious Deal of the Year Awards.

The Real Estate Board of New York presented its highly coveted awards for the Most Ingenious Deals of 2005 at the annual cocktail party of the REBNY Sales Broker Committee on April 4 at the 101 Club. Thirteen submissions were narrowed down to three winners- one in each category of sole, lease, and finance. The highly coveted awards recognize the deals that demonstrate the most ingenuity, creativity, and professional skill.

For the Lease of 1211 Avenue of the Americas, brokers Moshe Sukenik and Mark S. Weiss of Newmark Knight Frank, and Mitchell A. Arkin and John S. Gray of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., were awarded the first-place Henry Hart Rice Award, which memorializes a past Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award winner and five-time Robert T. Lawrence Award recipient.

For the Sale of 175,000 square feet at 83 Maiden Lane, brokers Brian D. Gell and Gory Kamenetsky of CB Richard Ellis, Inc. were presented with the second-place Robert T Lawrence Award.

For the Financing of 522 Fifth Avenue, brokers Simon Ziff anti Patrick Hanlon from Ackmon-Ziff Real Estate Group, LLC were honored with the third place EdwardS. Gordon Award.
