The center has been temporarily closed since it moved to its current location, an old church that was completely gutted and required a large amount of renovations. The staff at BYSC BYSC Beaumont Youth Soccer Club (Beaumont, TX)

RCN volunteers will completely transform a section of the old church basement into a reading/library area for the children that utilize the building. Volunteers will build bookshelves, create door partitions to section off this area, and construct two reading benches. In addition, volunteers will paint literacy murals that will encourage kids to read. Lastly, volunteers will sort-out, organize and label the books so they can be easily managed by the agency.
