RCAI Signs Distributorship Agreement for Ireland and Great Britain.LAKE FOREST, Calif. -- RCAI RCAI - Railroadiana Collectors Association, Incorporated RCAI - Restorative Care of America, Inc. (OTCBB:RCAA RCAA - Radio Code Aptitude Area RCAA - Rock Crawlers Association of America (formerly American Rock Crawlers Association) RCAA - Rocket City Astronomical Association RCAA - Romanian Civil Aviation Authority RCAA - Root Cause Alarm Analysis (Telcordia) RCAA - Royal Canadian Artillery Association RCAA - Runs Created Above Average (baseball statistic)) announced today that it has signed an exclusive Distributorship Agreement with Asphalt asphalt (ăs`fôlt, –fălt), brownish-black substance used commonly in road making, roofing, and waterproofing. Chemically, it is a natural mixture of hydrocarbons. Solutions Ltd. of Belfast, Ireland, for exclusive distribution rights of the company's ALDEROX(R) line of products throughout Ireland and Great Britain. Asphalt Solutions Ltd. is part of the ITA group of companies, which includes Adex UK Ltd., ITA Construction Ltd. and ITA Asphalt Solutions Ltd. Asphalt Solutions Ltd. was established to service industry's need for environmentally friendly, cost-effective release agents, lubricants and cleaners in Ireland, Great Britain and the European Union. The ITA Group has relationships with some of the largest asphalt and aggregate companies in the world, most of which are based in Western Europe. The ITA Group operates in the construction and asphalt markets. At present the Group operates from a 4,500-square-foot purpose-built warehouse in Belfast. The physical distribution of products to sites throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland is carried out under contract with Reid Transport based in Ballymena Ballymena (bălēmē`nə), town (1991 pop. 28,166) and district, NE Northern Ireland, on the Braid River. Linen, woolen goods, synthetic fibers, carpets, and tobacco are produced in the town. According to tradition, St. Patrick worked as a herder at Slemish Mt., 5 mi (8.1 km) from Ballymena., which has 18 distribution depots in the United Kingdom for holding stock. European Market Size and Target Market Share Market data provided by the European Asphalt Pavement Association indicates that 31 million tonnes of asphalt were produced in the United Kingdom and Ireland in 2002. As the average truck load of asphalt is 22 tonnes, this equates to 1.41 million truck loads per year. One application of ALDEROX(R) is required for three truck loads of asphalt, therefore the market size is 500,000 applications or 125,000 gallons of ALDEROX(R) per annum. Release agents are also used on paving machinery. Data from the European Asphalt Pavement Association indicates that there are approximately 1,000 paving companies in the United Kingdom and Ireland. As 90% of the companies involved in the production or laying of asphalt are small or medium enterprises, it is estimated that the companies each have one machine. It is accepted in the industry that a paver will use release agents equal to approximately 2 gallons of ALDEROX(R) a day. Based on a 20-day working month, this equates to approximately 480,000 gallons of ALDEROX(R) per annum. The primary market for release agents in the United Kingdom and Ireland is therefore approximately 600,000 gallons of ALDEROX(R) per annum. RCAI's wholesale price to overseas distributors is US$7.00 per gallon. The Asphalt Industry in Europe Diesel fuel has been the historic "release agent" and cleaning agent for most applications within the asphalt industry. This practice has led to the largest environmental contamination worldwide. Each day across Europe, tens of thousands of gallons of diesel fuel are being applied to trucks and equipment as release agents. This leads to the derogation of the asphalt mat, and more significantly, diesel is finding its way into the water table. European Market Opportunity and Future Trends In the asphalt industry legislation and British standards are now in place which prohibits the use of diesel as release agent. Most recently BS 594 Part II and BS 4987 Part II have been re-written to state "diesel fuel is strictly prohibited in its use as a release agent." The ALDEROX(R) range of products is a cost-effective alternative to diesel as a release agent and offers better performance. The ALDEROX(R) range of products complies with current and future legislation, and COSHH COSHH - Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health regulation (UK) regulations, as ALDEROX(R) is not as hazardous as diesel. RCAI personnel completed a number of on-site product demonstration projects and sales training in Ireland in October of 2004 and will return to complete sales training in February of 2005. Asphalt Solutions Ltd. has already placed their first order for 3,000 gallons of ALDEROX(R) product for immediate delivery. About RCAI's Products The ALDEROX(R) line of non-stick, lubrication and cleaning products are completely non-hazardous, 100% biodegradable blends of various all-natural materials.
