 RAYTHEON UNIT WINS PHILADELPHIA ELECTRIC CONTRACTS VALUED AT
 UP TO $140 MILLION
 LEXINGTON, Mass., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) announced today that its United Engineers & Constructors (UE&C) subsidiary has won two contracts for engineering, modification and maintenance services from the Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO), with a potential total value of $140 million to UE&C.
 Philadelphia Electric has awarded UE&C a four-year contract as an Engineer of Choice to provide engineering and design services for all of the utility's nuclear-powered and fossil-fueled generating facilities. PECO has also awarded UE&C a five-year contract as a Contractor of Choice for maintenance and modification services at the utility's nuclear generating stations.
 The new Philadelphia Electric program establishes two firms as preferred Engineer of Choice and two firms as preferred Contractor of Choice to provide engineering, modification and maintenance services for all of the generating facilities it operates. UE&C is the only firm chosen by PECO for both contracts.
