RAYTHEON UNIT WINS OIL PRODUCTION FACILITY PROJECT IN RUSSIA

 LEXINGTON, Mass. Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) announced today that its United Engineers & Constructors (UE&C) subsidiary will provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services to the Chernogorskoye Joint Venture for an initial 6,000-barrel-per-day crude oil production facility in the Chernogorskoye oil field in Western Siberia, Russia, as well as for further planned Chernogorskoye production facilities.
 The total installed cost of the entire planned oil field development project is estimated at $80 million. Terms of the UE&C contract were not disclosed.
 The Chernogorskoye Joint Venture formed to develop this project consists of Anderman/Smith Overseas, Inc., an international oil and gas development company with offices in Denver, Colo., and Tulsa, Okla., and Chernogorneft Oil and Gas Enterprise, a Russian oil and gas production enterprise located in Nizhnevartovsk, Western Siberia.
 Raytheon, headquartered in Lexington, Mass., is a $9 billion, diversified international company with sales in four business segments: Electronics, Aviation Products, Energy and Environmental, and Major Appliances.
