SALEM, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 1998--RAScom, Inc. and LANSource Technologies Incorporated today announced that RAScom is offering customers LANSource's WINport(R) and FAXport(R) products through its RASware(tm) Partner Program. RAScom will offer these products as preconfigured options for its RAServer Series 2000(tm) product line of Windows NT-based remote access servers.

FAXport software brings powerful feature rich fax capabilities to RAScom RAServers. Users can prepare, preview, send and receive faxes from within existing applications, or from email environments, including MS Exchange, MS Mail and cc:Mail. FAXport's advanced security and administrative features allow central control and local administration of fax access and use. WINport allows RAScom customers to increase security and save on modem and telephone costs by allowing network users to make outbound modem calls through the RAServer--eliminating the need for a modem and data line at each workstation. With the addition of WINport and FAXport, enterprise customers can use the RAServer as a central access point for inbound remote access, corporate Internet connectivity, inbound/outbound fax, and outbound modem access.
