RAScom First Vendor to Ship Microsoft Routing and Remote Access Service as Part of Integrated Server Solution.


SALEM, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 1997--

Now Standard Feature of RAServer Series 2000 Software; Service

Pack for Windows NT 4.0 Integrated into

a Complete Solution

RAScom, Incorporated today announced that Microsoft Corporation's Routing and Remote Access Service (formerly code-named "Steelhead") has been incorporated into the RAServer Series 2000(tm) software. The new Microsoft service pack will ship as a pre-configured standard feature on all RAServer Series 2000 products, including the RAServer 2000a, RAServer 2500(tm), RAServer 2900(tm), and the new RAServer ISPack(tm).

New customers will receive Routing and Remote Access Service as a standard set of features, and customers with support agreements are now receiving free upgrades. Editors Note: Please download Remote Access with Windows NT RAS (1) See network access server.
