RAPPER IN DOG HOUSE AFTER MARIJUANA ARREST AT SHOW.

Rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg and a friend were arrested late Friday after authorities found marijuana marijuana or marihuana, drug obtained from the flowering tops, stems, and leaves of the hemp plant, Cannabis sativa (see hemp) or C. indica; the latter species can withstand colder climates.  on each of the two men, according to according to

The arrests were made around 11 p.m. at the Universal Amphitheatre, where Snoop Doggy Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was attending a comedy show, according to Sheriff's Lt. Brad Welker.

A search ensued, Welker said, and less than an ounce of marijuana was found on both Broadus and Arnaud.

Each man was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor marijuana possession. They were cited and released, Welker said.
