RAPIST SUSPECT IN '95 KILLING OF WOMAN, 19; DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING MAN IN 4 OTHER SLAYINGS.Byline: Bhavna Mistry Daily News Staff Writer Sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating a convicted rapist's links to five murders, including the 1995 slaying of a young Palmdale mother. Nieto, 30, is serving a prison sentence of 368 years to life for a brutal 1996 home-invasion robbery in Lancaster in which four women were raped. Martinez said he has asked the District Attorney's Office to file first-degree murder charges against Nieto for the Feb. 6, 1995, slaying of Barneond. Nieto is a suspect in the 1993 slaying of two men in Wilmington and is believed to be involved in the 1994 slayings of a woman in West Los Angeles
