RAINSTORM BRINGS QUICK CHILL TO REGION.

As rain splashed city streets Friday afternoon, snow dusted local mountaintops, leaving Frazier Park to collect almost 4 inches and prompting a snow advisory for all Ventura County mountain areas, officials said.

Forecasters were predicting a dry but chilly weekend, with temperatures expected to be in the low to mid-60s today, but winds expected to send a chill through the valleys and mountains.
