RAINFALL LIFTS WATER CONCERNS.

As rain soaked the Southland for a second day, state water officials gave new assurances of an adequate water supply.

By Wednesday afternoon, 0.56 of an inch of rain had been recorded in downtown Los Angeles Downtown Los Angeles is the central business district of Los Angeles, California, located close to the geographic center of the metropolitan area.
