RAID I/O Flyer LVI Sings In Unison.

Unison Information Systems, Ltd. released its new RAID 110 Flyer LVD See LVDS.

LVD - Low Voltage Differential
, a family of RAID storage systems that support data storage technologies. The LVD is suited for commercial, industrial, educational, government, and consumer markets where fault tolerant The ability to continue non-stop when a hardware failure occurs. A fault-tolerant system is designed from the ground up for reliability by building multiples of all critical components, such as CPUs, memories, disks and power supplies into the same computer.  data storage of programs, files, records, graphics, and other data is required.

The product supports up to 12 hotpluggable, lockable SCSI SCSI
in full Small Computer System Interface

Once common standard for connecting peripheral devices (disks, modems, printers, etc.) to small and medium-sized computers. SCSI has given way to faster standards, such as Firewire and USB.
disk drives with capacities of 4.5GB, 9.1GB, 18.2GB, and 36.4GB. It is selectable for RAID levels 0, 1, (0+1), 3, or 5, or any combination or RAID level in the same systems. The RAID 110 Flyer LVD is designed with two buses with each bus supporting six disk drives for a total of twelve disk drives per system. The rackmount design holds twelve drives (six drives per bus). These Ultra2 SCSI See Ultra SCSI.  RAID storage subsystems include hotpluggable power supplies, fans, and disk drives that provide data availability Refers to the degree to which data can be instantly accessed. The term is mostly associated with service levels that are set up either by the internal IT organization or that may be guaranteed by a third party datacenter or storage provider.  and flexibility. The required power and voltage is 110V/230V.

The list price for the 54.66GB drive (Model RLVD-6012/54600-EXT) is $11,875; $15,485 for the 109.2GB (Model RLVD-6012/108600-EXT); $21,282 for the 218.4GB model (Model RLVD-6012/2109000-EXT); and $34,952 for the 436.8GB drive (Model RLVD-6012/437000/EXT). All Flyer LVD systems are available from stock.
