On September 12th, Teasdale Quality Foods implemented RADIO BEACON WMS Expert Edition version 5.4 in their Atwater, California distribution facility. Additionally, with Radio Beacon's Web Dispatch, the organization is able to allocate products to a specific sales order based on a variety of criteria, including order priority and required ship date. By allocating products based on required date, Teasdale is able to plan more accurately which allows for better truck scheduling. When sales orders are preallocated, short shipments are caught by the dispatcher before orders are picked, thereby increasing picking efficiency and maximizing fill rates.
