RADA ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIES LIMITED ANNOUNCES SELECTION OF ACE FLIGHT SYSTEM

HERZLIYA PITUACH, Israel, June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- RADA Electronic Industries Limited (NASDAQ: RADIF) today provided the following information concerning its recent announcement relating to the selection of its ACE Flight System by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) after the completion of competitive demonstrations.
The ACE System replaces a cumbersome technology which is currently being used by air forces throughout the world for flight training and debriefing. ACE's on board recording and positioning system eliminates the need for ground tracking and telemetry systems. The ACE system which is installed in a combat aircraft, enables the reconstruction of a sortie, including flight routes, the operation of an aircraft's weapon and electronic warfare systems, as well as the pilot's activity during the flight. Installation is simple and requires no software of cockpit modification to the aircraft.
If and when the IAF determines to purchase the system, such purchase will be made pursuant to recently enacted procurement regulations in Israel. Such regulations may require a competitive tender. The company believes that it will have a competitive edge in any such tender because to the best of its knowledge, its ACE technology is the only system currently available which complies with the IAF's required solution.
