R.R. DONNELLEY NAMES BAUMGARTNER SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

 CHICAGO, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company (NYSE: DNY), the world's largest commercial printer, has elected Steven J. Baumgartner, 42, to the newly created position of senior vice president of human resources, compensation and benefits services.
 Baumgartner joined R.R. Donnelley from FRC, Inc., where he was co-founder of the Philadelphia-based manager and developer of continuing-care retirement communities and elderly care-at-home networks. Prior to that, Baumgartner was senior vice president of human resources and public affairs at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, a pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Paris, France, and Collegeville, Pa., and director of compensation, benefits and human resources at Baxter Travenol in Deerfield, Ill.
 Baumgartner received a bachelor of arts degree from Kalamazoo College (Mich.) and a master of science degree from Loyola University of Chicago. He, his wife, Danielle, and their two daughters reside in Evanston, Ill.
