R.R. DONNELLEY ACQUIRES SPECIALTY PRINTER IN ILLINOIS

 CHICAGO, June 14/PRNewswire/ -- R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company (NYSE:DNY), the world's largest commercial printer, has purchased the assets of Tech Web, Inc.,a specialty and direct-mail printer in Wheeling, Ill.
 "The acquisition of Tech Web demonstrates Donnelley's commitment to the growing specialty and direct-response products industry," explained Charles F. Siegel, R.R. Donnelley senior vice president. "Similar to American Inline Graphics, which we purchased last November, our new division gives us in-line finishing capabilities that allow us to further extend our product line and offer our customers an array of creative formats."

 Founded in 1976, Tech Web employs 290 people who produce direct mail components (e.g., statement stuffers and coupons), brochures, stamp sheets and magazine inserts from its 107,000-square-foot plant approximately 20 miles northwest of Chicago.
