R.J. Carbonell named president and CEO of Tetley USA.
Carbonell was previously president and CEO of Bionaire Inc., retired chairman and CEO of Del Monte Corp., retired vice chairman of RJR Nabisco Inc., and senior vice president of Group Executive of Standard Brands Inc.'s Consumer Products Group. "Bob Carbonell is eminently qualified to head our U.S. tea and coffee business," said Allen. "In addition to his broad and extensive business career in the food industry, he has had direct experience in all aspects of Standard Brands' previous tea and coffee businesses," he added. "I am spearheading their profitable market growth," said Carbonell.
