Quran verses online.

MUSLIMS in Bahrain and worldwide can now go online to read the Holy Quran in their native languages.

The website provides colour translated pages of the Holy Quran with tafseer (interpretation of verses) in 35 different languages, including Arabic.

The website was created by an Islamic group in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, in January this year and is being promoted to Muslims in Bahrain by Discover Islam.

The translation is now available in Arabic, Burmese, English, Malayalam, Zulu, Persian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Urdu, Sindhi, Tegalog, Chinese, Tamil, Dory, Othmani, Hausa, Thai, Turkish, Greek, German, Indonesian, Korean, Warsh, Kaloon, Kazakh, Kashmiri, Macedonian, Albanian, Brahui, Chichewa, Yoruba, Anko, Somali and Bosnian languages.

People can also search for related surah (verse) by typing in word, subject, verse, chapter and page number.

"It's a high quality website and describes the real meaning of each and every verse of the Holy Quran in 35 different languages," said Discover Islam da'awa co-ordinator Syed Thahir.
