Quovadx and OCShi Integrate Healthcare Information Systems at Royal Hospital in Oman; Quovadx Expands Presence in the Middle East through Agreement with OCShi.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Quovadx, Inc. (Nasdaq: QVDX), a global software and vertical solution company, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with OCS Healthcare Informatics (OCShi), based in Dubai, UAE, by which OCShi will offer Cloverleaf(R) Integration Suite from Quovadx to its customers, including Royal Hospital in Oman.

OCShi utilized Cloverleaf Integration Suite to facilitate a large-scale data migration project for the Royal Hospital in Oman. The Royal Hospital needed to move from its existing health record system to a new homegrown health record system in compliance with government mandates. In addition to migrating patient records to the new state-wide record system, Royal Hospital will soon integrate laboratory results data into the main hospital information system. By allowing physicians to see applicable aspects of a patient's health record, Royal Hospital hopes to improve the level of care provided to each patient. Each interface will be powered by the Cloverleaf(R) engine. OCShi and Quovadx jointly trained users on how to use and add interfaces using the Cloverleaf engine.
