Quovadx Technology Chosen by CommerceWorks to Integrate Local Government IT Systems in the United Kingdom.

HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, UK -- QDX(TM) Platform V Components Provide Cost-Effective and Flexible Integration Support for CommerceWorks' Clients

Quovadx, Inc. (Nasdaq: QVDX), a global software and vertical solutions company, today announced that CommerceWorks Group, specialists in the delivery of collaborative vertical market Web Service applications, will offer QDX(TM) Platform V components to its customers in the United Kingdom as part of CommerceWorks' system integration and business process management (BPM) solutions.

QUOVADX(TM) technology plays an integral role in solutions recently implemented by Gloucester City Council ICT Services and Sheffield City Council supported by CommerceWorks. Both local governments will be using QDX Platform V as part of their efforts to meet e-government targets set by the UK central government in the areas of citizen services and education, respectively.

Gloucester City Council is using Cloverleaf(R) Integration Services (formerly QDX(TM) Integration Services) and Boston Workstation(TM), components of QDX Platform V, to integrate information from various county agencies. The integrated system, using Web services, will give the appropriate officers access to the information they need. Through this integration, Gloucester City Council will be able to provide a timely response to its citizens.

CommerceWorks is also including QUOVADX technology into a solution under development for Sheffield City Council that will allow the local education authorities to meet performance-reporting guidelines. QUOVADX technology will be a core part of the new CommerceWorks solution for Sheffield City Council.
