Quickfilter Technologies Names President and COO.

ALLEN, Texas -- Quickfilter Technologies, a fabless semiconductor company developing mixed signal ICs for programmable analog to digital signal processing, announced the appointment of Les Crudele to the position of President and COO, effective February 1st.

Mr. Crudele has a long and outstanding background in microprocessors and computer systems. Early in his career he was a computer architect and designer on a number of modern computer families including the Motorola MC68000, the MIPS R2000, and the Stellar GS1000. Later, Les took on a leadership role and was responsible for forming the PowerPC architecture and business unit at Motorola and the Workstation business unit at Compaq before joining Banderacom.

Les is currently serving on the board of Transmeta Corporation and formerly served as President, CEO and chairman of the board at Banderacom, a fabless semiconductor company that developed fully-integrated, high-performance systems-on-a-chip to support the InfiniBand I/O standard. At Banderacom Les was instrumental in raising venture funding and assembled a team that delivered complete channel adapter and switching silicon solutions to the networking, storage and server computing markets.
