Quick-response heaters for cut-sheet machines.

Chemically, it is silicon dioxide, SiO2.  panel heaters from Solar Products Inc., Pompton Lakes Pompton Lakes, borough (1990 pop. 10,539), Passaic co., NE N.J.; settled 1682 by the Dutch, inc. 1895. It is chiefly residential, but textiles and blasting equipment are made. This medium-wavelength unit reportedly combines the speed of quartz tubes with the ruggedness of panel heaters. Power output is up to 80 watts/[in.sup.2] and peak wavelength is 2 to 4 microns.
