Froley, Revy Investment Co. of Westwood, one of the oldest finance shops in the country devoted to convertible bond investing and management, has been acquired by San Francisco-based First Republic Bank. The upstate bank acquired 18 percent of the 31employee Froley, Revy in January 2000, with an option on the rest. It exercised that option in early February, with the deal expected to close in 90 days.
