Questions for Fr. Marty.

Q: Hello Father Patton,

I have a potential client that would like to know if he can be treated for Juvenile Diabetes. He is an adult. I would like to know if you have treated JD, your successes, and if possible your program of care. I would like to treat him and as a Hypnotherapist, I believe this is possible. As a Nurse, I have some reservations and would not want to mislead him.

A: Dear Adrienne,

Type I diabetes Type I diabetes
Also called juvenile diabetes. Type I diabetes typically begins early in life. Affected individuals have a primary insulin deficiency and must take insulin injections.

can be worked with in adults. The concept revolves around the mind producing cells (islet cells). In type I (Juvenile Diabetes) the pancreas cannot produce the sugar controlling cells from the pancreas. They may be supplied by a transplant of healthy islet cells from a donor cadaver cadaver /ca·dav·er/ (kah-dav´er) a dead body; generally applied to a human body preserved for anatomical study.cadav´ericcadav´erous

ca·dav·er
n.
pancreas or, in the case of hypnosis, the mind can generate the islet cells by having the mind create the cells and send them into the liver area. You will need to convince your patient that he does have the power to alter the chemistry of his body. I would start with him experiencing a warm hand, then move it to cold, so he gets the idea of controlling cells (glove anesthesia). Since as a youth his pancreas did not produce the islet cells he needed, then it was up to him to have the cells produced by what the mind creates. It would be good if he were on an insulin pump system that only reacts to his immediate needs. I have found that works better than depending on a blood reading and then an exterior shot of insulin.

The technique doesn't work on type II diabetes Type II diabetes
Type II diabetes is the most common form of diabetes and usually appears in middle aged adults. It is often associated with obesity and may be delayed or controlled with diet and exercise.

Mentioned in: Diabetic Ketoacidosis
, because it is a different disease. In type I diabetes, people lack the cells to produce insulin, hence the need for the cell transplant, or creating cells with the mind. But, type II diabetics still have their islet cells and are often able to make their own insulin. Type II diabetics' problem is that their insulin is resistant in other areas.

I have been successful with clients who have had pancreatic cancer and produced the cells they needed for health. The advantage was that they had already produced islet cells, so cell memory is available. I am not sure how this would work when cell memory was not present. I would assume some cell memory, since the disease is not usually diagnosed in children right away.

Best of luck, my prayers are with you.

A: Dear Gwen,

The following comes from U of Tokyo:

Scleroderma scleroderma

Chronic disease that hardens the skin and fixes it to underlying structures. Swelling and collagen buildup lead to loss of elasticity. The cause is unknown.

We have recently established a mouse model for scleroderma by repeated local injections of bleomycin bleomycin /ble·o·my·cin/ (ble-o-mi´sin) a polypeptide antibiotic mixture obtained from cultures of Streptomyces verticellus; used as the sulfate salt as an antineoplastic.

The significance of this model is Dermal sclerosis is certainly induced by a simple technique in a short period, Analysis of early phase, which is prior to the onset of scleroderma, can be possible, Therapeutic approach including gene therapy can be available. Our group is currently investigating the pathogenesis of cutaneous cutaneous /cu·ta·ne·ous/ (ku-ta´ne-us) pertaining to the skin.

If you can't do this, use and read Dr. Irene Hickman's Mind Probe--Hypnosis. You can order it from Anne Spencer.

More detail would help about the patient.

Good luck!
